Labour's Crime & Policing Bill threatens to ban face coverings at protests.
Everyone must be able to speak out on important issues, and face coverings enable us all to do this safely, without fear of negative consequences for ourselves and our loved ones.
The Crime & Policing Bill also plans to restrict protest "in the vicinity" of places of worship.
This Bill also threatens to ban repeat protests and to remove the 'reasonable excuse' defence for protest offences.
We must oppose anti-protest laws that silence us, protect the powerful and prevent meaningful change.
